1. About drawn

drawn is a private messaging app for couples: share love notes, drawings, and milestones with your partner. The app is operated by:

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use drawn. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account

• You register with your email address via a one-time password.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• One account per person. You may not share your account with others.
• You may delete your account at any time by submitting a request at drawn.love/delete-account.

4. Couple Pairing

drawn is designed for two people. You can pair with one partner at a time using an invite code. Unpairing (“breaking up” in app) dissolves the couple; both accounts become unpaired and the partner link is removed.

5. Subscriptions

What’s included

Certain features (sending notes beyond the free limit, important dates, timeline history) require an active drawn subscription.

“One pays for both”

A subscription covers both partners in a couple. If one partner subscribes, both gain access to premium features for as long as that subscription remains active.

Billing

Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or yearly basis and are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase and auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel auto-renewal at any time in your device’s subscription settings. Cancellation stops future charges; no partial refund is issued for the current period. Refunds are subject to Apple’s or Google’s refund policies.

If a Couple Dissolves

If a couple is dissolved while a subscription is active, the subscribing partner retains their premium status until the subscription lapses. The non-subscribing partner loses access to premium features immediately.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. We will give you reasonable notice before any price increase takes effect.

6. Your Content

• You retain ownership of all notes, drawings, and content you create in drawn.
• By using the app you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and transmit your content solely to provide the service (e.g. delivering your note to your partner).
• We do not use your content for advertising or share it with third parties.
• You are solely responsible for the content you send. Do not send content that is illegal, abusive, or harmful.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use drawn for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person through the app
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the app
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user’s account or our systems

8. Intellectual Property

The drawn app, name, logo, and all associated software are owned by Maximilian Wardenbach. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the app.

9. Availability

We aim to keep drawn running reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or temporarily suspend the service without notice. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via drawn.love/delete-account. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, drawn and Maximilian Wardenbach are not liable for:

• Loss of data, notes, or content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Interruptions to the service

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of drawn after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
